At Advancing Health Access Nevada we are committed to provide a comprehensive Case Management to the homeless or any group of people by identifying and addressing each guest’s barriers. We offer the services and supports that they need to move forward with their lives.
Case managers working in Health Care have diverse educational backgrounds and work experience, and use varied approaches to care, but services are generally more inclusive than those provided in traditional healthcare settings.
Primary functions that characterize most case management include:
- Patient identification and outreach.
- Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of progress and needs.
- Health Care.
- Clothing.
- Food.
- Income.

STD Testing
If you’re sexually active, getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases/infections (STDs or STIs) is crucial to your overall health. Anyone under the age of 45 are especially at risk for contracting STDs- however, ANYONE who is sexually active is at risk.
The statistics are shocking. It’s estimated that one in two sexually active people will contract a STD by age 25. And every year, 20 million new cases of STDs are reported every year in the US. That’s why at Advancing Health Access Nevada, our top priority is our patients and their wellness & health.

What Is PrEP?
PrEP stands for pre-exposure prophylaxis. It’s a daily pill that can help prevent HIV. If you don’t have HIV, taking PrEP every day can lower your chances of getting HIV from sex by more than 90%. PrEP is also known by the brand name Truvada or Descovy.
TRUVADA for PrEP® (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is a prescription medicine that can help reduce the risk of getting
DESCOVY® for HIV-1 pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is indicated in at-risk adults and adolescents (≥35 kg) to reduce the risk of sexually acquired HIV-1 infection, excluding individuals at risk from receptive vaginal sex. HIV-1–negative status must be confirmed immediately prior to initiation.
